Meet Cheryl, our Registered Massage Therapist

Cheryl is a Massage Therapist and Acupuncturist who has been studying health and the body for the last 14 years.  Her unique approach to the treatments she offers is a result of her extensive education, having completed a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry, Physiology, and Nutrition, her experience as a yoga teacher and her experience practicing as a Massage Therapist and Provisional Acupuncturist.

Cheryl completed her Diploma in Massage Therapy in Newfoundland before furthering her education in Thailand, China, and in the United States, where she studied Neuromuscular Therapy. Most recently she has completed a Diploma in Traditional Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture, which has added another effective dimension to her treatments.

The strength of her treatments lies in her ability to assess ones whole body to find the root cause of pain or dysfunction, and the option to utilize multiple therapies to find the best solution for each situation.

Currently Cheryl is sharing her experience by teaching Massage Therapy and Acupuncture here in Ottawa.
